Budi Waluyo, recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford, 2025) and recipient of the Princess Chulabhorn Walailak University Gold Research Award (2025), is an Associate Professor at Walailak University. He earned degrees from the University of Bengkulu, IDN (BA, Indonesian Ministry of Education Scholarship), the University of Manchester, UK (MA, Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program), and Lehigh University, USA (PhD, Fulbright Presidential Scholarship), and was a research fellow at Columbia University, USA. A UK Higher Education Academy Fellow (FHEA), he has more than 10 years of English teaching experience in higher education, has published 76 Scopus-indexed articles with an H-index of 18, and his internationally recognized research spans English language teaching, educational technology, and international education.
